Commercial Gas Qualifications That Matter
Gas Safe registration is essential, but the registration must also cover the gas type, appliance and activity involved. Commercial boilers, direct fired heaters and larger pipework are not all covered by one generic domestic qualification.
JR Heat has provided the commercial assessment categories listed below. We can discuss the relevant qualifications for your specific installation before work is arranged. You can independently check the registered categories through the Gas Safe Register.

Testing, repairs and installations
Commercial Gas Pipework, Testing and Purging
Gas pipework in commercial buildings can involve larger diameters and system volumes than a typical domestic installation. Before work begins, the installation needs to be assessed so that the correct testing and purging method, qualified engineer and working arrangements can be identified.
For smaller eligible installations, TPCP1A covers testing and direct purging within its defined scope. TPCP1 addresses larger installations exceeding one cubic metre in volume. ICPN1 covers the installation and first fix of commercial pipework above 35 mm diameter.
If you are planning a new boiler room, altering an existing commercial gas supply or arranging checks after a fault, share the pipework and appliance details with JR Heat.

Customer experiences
What Customers Say About JR Heat
Excellent service. We were very pleased with the way in which James approached the task of replacing our very old office boiler system. He managed the whole process of removal of the old installation, including asbestos removal, electricals etc and installed the new kit. We were kept fully informed throughout the process. An excellent job.
James has been a delight to work with, he is conscientious, competent, helpful, and efficient. He has recently made several fixes and upgrades to our industrial underfloor and ventilation heating systems, and I would thoroughly recommend him for larger commercial works as well as smaller domestic jobs.
